Lisa Nelson lives in Barrington with her fiancé and their blended family of three sons, ranging in age from two to 18 years. She's been a public servant for nearly a decade, focusing her career on improving education and supporting children and families across Rhode Island. 

Our school community is at a crossroads in many ways. Lisa’s experience — together with her passion for creating long-lasting, positive change — make her a uniquely qualified candidate for Barrington School Committee.
